I have Vista, running FF4. I clicked on a (trusted) link in an email (craigslist posting). It opened in FF4 but no tabs or anything else is showing. I right clicked everywhere, nothing. I tried f keys, alt, shift, etc, nothing. I clicked red x in upper right cornor and it warned me I would be closing 8 tabs. I cancelled. In the original window, every time I click on a link like this (I tried others) it just opens a new tab, showing a blank page. When I click the red x, the page content appears and it again says I am about to close 10 tabs. I then clicked on the defective window, clicked on the email link and in the defective window, it opened a new tab and is hiding the other 10. It will keep opening tabs and hiding all the others. I then opened another FF (from start menu) and it gave me a complete (all tabs) page. Clicking on the trusted link opens with no problem in a new tab in the new window. How do I restore the defective "window". I think this is a bug that needs to be addressed. Anyone else have this happen?

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?
A troubleshooting mode.
1.You can open the Firefox 4.0 SafeMode by holding the Shft key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
2. Or use the Help menu item, click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled... while Firefox is running.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut to open it again.
