Bottom row of preferences tab windows is only partially displayed. Well... that's wierd... when I opened the preferences window, (to correctly describe the issue) and switched between the top row of buttons (tabs, content, etc.), the entire set of options then displayed. I wish I'd made a screenshot earlier. It really happened... honest!

Can you resize that window by dragging the borders?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
