Going back a while I noticed that under unsorted bookmarks there many many "Mozilla Getting Started" saved This also occurs under the bookmark menu area. The system for the past month seems to crash more often than I've experienced before.

Unfortunately the screenshot does not show a list of the unsorted bookmarks, however if there is an issue with duplicates, please check to make sure that there is not another add on or sync service that might be duplicating the bookmarks. In the meantime there is an add on for the duplicates:
(Before running it, please make a back up of the bookmarks from the Show > All Bookmarks menu)
This did not fixed the problem... I have notice also the Firefox has been crashing a lot more than ever. Thanx in advance for your help...
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the Report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).
- Click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
If necessary then you can open about: pages via the location/address bar.
