Using F'fox on Windows 7, when I have several windows open, why does the relative location of those windows on the task bar occasionally change?

Typically I have three Firefox windows open, each with several tabs. Firefox itself is pinned to the Windows taskbar. A few of the tabs are set to auto-reload.

The behavior that I find strange is that the window which initially had the middle position in the task bar occasionally migrates to the first position. Can this behavior be controlled, or at least predicted?

Thanks

Hi Avocet, I would assume that this changes because this is the last window to load a new page or that has been brought into focus. If this happens on one of the autoload tabs this might explain it.

It looks like another had the same question and had an operating system tweak: http://superuser.com/questions/680406/how-to-order-windows-of-the-same-pro...
