So I accidentally hit F12 (dev tool) but I suppose I also hot something else as all FF controls. address bar etc. disappeared. When I hit the top pf my screen with my cursor part of the controls appear. That is addressbar and icons of add-ons. But no bookmarks etc. I also cannot access my Windows toolbar.

What is the solution please.

Thanks.

hi Mozzix, you probably have hit F11 as well (which toggles the fullscreen mode on and off. please press this key again :-)

I have a blue border around webpages now and when I for instance use the Win snipping tool it turns grey.

Thanks so much Philipp

try to maximize the firefox window again (that's the square button on the second to the right on top of the window).

That almost did it, I still have the blue bar on top which gives the name of the website were I am at. See screenshot I provided earlier.

Once again thanks philipp. Usually I know what to do but I have never encountered this before.
