How do I get rid of Daily?
Thunderbird installed Daily without my permission. I downloaded and installed latest version of t-bird and it still appears. How do I get rid of it?

That would be your hint that the Daily message showing in the Start Page is in error. The release version is version 45.1 so if that is what you are running then you are on the release version. There are only 6 of threads covering this on the first few pages of the forum. Hopefully they get this fixed pretty soon.
Either turn off the start page or ignore it.
You likely still have the Thunderbird 45.1.0 Release.
