After the last update on thunderbird actioned today I have lost a lot of my files with downloaded emails in. This is a business account and I am now panicking as important emails appear to be lost.

It's unlikely that this has got anything to do with the update. When this is a business account I'm certain you do have a backup of your Thunderbird profile so that you'll be able to restore any missing messages. For the time being see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Disappearing_mail

It's unlikely that this has got anything to do with the update. When this is a business account I'm certain you do have a backup of your Thunderbird profile so that you'll be able to restore any missing messages. For the time being see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Disappearing_mail
