Dear Firefox team,

would you be so kind to stop fooling around with your browser? It's been getting from bad to worse with every update. Every time you release an update we have to go around and find a fix for it. Every time we have to find what you've changed and change it again. And, apparently, now you've decided to remove the option of changing things back.

How the hell do I remove this annoying "Visit" link in the drop down menu, and just have the history show up (without using extensions or addons)?

Please, stop fidging around with your browser with every update.

Sincerely, The Users

Not gonna happen. The new "OneOffButtons" search scheme has been around for 14 versions now, with minor tweaks every 2nd, 3rd, or 4th version since Firefox 34. And midway thru those 14 versions the Old Search scheme was removed, so there's nothing to revert to now.

My guess is that the Search Bar "isn't long for this world"; no need for a search field in the default homepage and the new tab page, along with the URL bar and the contextual menu - so my guess is that Search var will be gone near the end of this year.
