close Thunderbird
+ R
In the run box type
%appdata%
Press enter
delete the folder Thunderbird that appear in Windows explorer.
Restart Thunderbird.
I have windows 10 I do not know where run box is to type in %appdata% in windows.
well I suggest you press the windows key and R like i indicated in my first post. Is the little picture on your key different or something.
I tried above I still had old e-mail show up. I found on Thunderbird itself a way to delete e-mail. Then I had it find the new one. It worked then. I did find others I eliminated because they were canceled a long time ago. Thank You, Keith
