Thunderbird/Lightning's "Today Pane" is perfect for the mail app, but there doesn't appear to be a way to access the Google Calendar after the appropriate add-ons are installed

Google calendar tab is a browser windows in a Thunderbird tab. Exactly as if you had it in firefox, edge or chrome. so forget having that show anything anywhere other that in the tab.

it would probably be a good idea to uninstall it as it is not used by the other two and will only muddy the waters.

have you added the Google calendar? you have to do that after you install the add-ons.

Google Calendar is in a Thunderbird tab, the calendar synchronizes and works perfectly...just cannot be accessed in the "Today Pane" (Google Calendar Tab, Provider for GC and of course Lightning are installed add-ons)
