i go to firefosx suggestions when i have a problem but the fix dpooesnt work most of the time and when they tell me to go to menu and select what im selecting

when i use firefox to fix a problem, the solution never works esp when i have to go to menu the item is never there that told me to use, i am using firefox 5.0 i get the problem often from my way search, it is difficult to uninstall exp when it isnt in control panel or the refresh button is grayed out or isnt even there, i just looked thru sumo and fund some fixes that are to complicated for me to figur out, how often is the help menue updated or can i get a new menu that has all the info that it is supposed to have
