Click on my Fire Fox icon on my desk top screen & a white page comes up telling me address is no good. In the line I believe is the address line on top of screen there is nothing. I wish I could remove the upgrade & get back to normal.

Is MAIL.TWC.COM your home page? Are you saying the home page is not loading? What does?

Check this first;
Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar.
There are two settings;
- When Firefox Starts
When the browser is started, what do you want to display? Many of us choose Show My Home Page.
- Home Page
When a new page is opened, what do you want to be displayed?
- Use Current Page. Use what ever page(s) are open at that time.
- Use Bookmark
- Restore To Default. about:home shows a Mozilla home page with tools.
You can use any of these that you wish;
about:home (Firefox default home page), about:newtab (shows the sites most visited), about:blank (a blank page),
or you can enter any webpage or about: page you want.
TNX did this the other day. No help. Did it again as you directed me & still no good. Thank You for trying to solve my problem. Appreciated your help. Take Care
I wonder if I should download FireFox again.

Go to that message, and use the Undo link to its right.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
