Saved passwords manager is empty, passwords have all disappeared
It's all in the subject I read some responses about Flash 26 issues, I am on 28 NANPI. I run the standard profile. Remember passwords and logins options was checked when I went in but the manager was empty but recorded OK when I logged in and re-entered a password.

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.3 with a Full Version Installer

Hi
I'm not sure I understand what is happening.
You lost previously stored passwords, but can save new passwords when prompted or isn't that working as well?
You can check if you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop in case the Refresh feature in Firefox has been used and a new profile has been created.
If you have this folder on the desktop then try to copy logins.json and key3.db from that folder to the current profile folder with Firefox closed.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

There is no "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop
If there is no "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop that you can use then you can try to browse Windows Restore points with this utility to see if you can find a matching logins.json and key3.db pair to copy to the current profile folder. Keep a backup copy of the current two files.
- System Restore Explorer: http://nicbedford.co.uk/software/systemrestoreexplorer/

I have no idea how or why, but the passords have now re-appeared.
There was a windows update but otherwise nothing has changed since the last time I checked.
Anyway, thanks for the responses.
