Browser will not even open at all now. I tried uninstalling but it says to close current mozilla. I checked and it is not running in the background so uninstalling will not work. I also tried reinstalling mozilla and after installing the browser window was nonexistent. Can you help me understand what is going on?

Hi, so you went to Windows Task Manager and there was nothing to Highlight and End ?

Please get a copy of your Profile just in case to save bookmarks as will be deleting the Profile also :

Please download this after you have done the above : https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html and install it.

Now please boot your computer into Safe Mode with Networking : https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

Run the uninstaller after again checking in Task Manager.

Bookmarks are in :

  • bookmarks and history: places.sqlite
  • bookmark backups: compressed .jsonlz4 JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder
