People are still receiving emails even if I have removed them from the address book.

I have received requests from people to stop receiving my newsletter. I remove them from the address book by clicking on their profile and clicking on delete. I double check the address book and their email is no longer there. If I respond to their email directly their address arrives in my address book under Collected Addresses but they are no longer in my distribution lists. How come they continue to still receive my newsletter? Thanks in advance.

Are you using a Template or a previously sent email which you adapt/edit before sending?

Or are you creating a completely new email and then adding the Mailing List ?

I create a new email each time and add email lists from the address book.

As a test do this via the Address Book. click on 'Address Book' Select 'All Address Books' Enable the 'Address Book' column header You could sort by name and also try sort by email address. Does that 'deleted' person turn up in any address book? Note they may be in it twice but under different/modified name or they may be added with name as the email address. Do they or email address appear in more than one address book?

Now test: Select the 'Mailing List' name in Directory Pane click on 'Write'

This opens a new Write message, but instead of seeing the 'Mailing List' name, you should see each contact's email address in a separate 'TO' field. Drag the body section downwards so you can see a long portion of the TO fields. Check each email address to see if the 'deleted' contact is shown.

Note: you may have that person with a different email address etc, so check carefully.

The person does appear when I select "All Address Books" because he is listed under "Collected Addresses".

When I check the respective Mailing List, he is not listed.
