The option for custom folder icons in the folder toolbar would be a great addition to the Folder Properties pulldown

Hi FFUser, Take a look at the extension favicon-customizer.

The OP is talking about bookmark folders, not individual bookmark favicons.

That can probably be done via userChrome.css. I have done that with the old Legacy versions of Firefox, but In changed the way I view my bookmarks with Quantum Firefox 57+ versions, and I don't 'need' a customized folders for bookmarks any longer.

As far as finding the userChrome.css code that you need, this reddit thread is probably the best source. https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/

None of the above options work with v73 of Firefox. I would love to be able to customize my default icons for each folder to help organize them. Plus some local bookmark just show the stupid globe icon which I would like to get rid of. Any way to accomplish that??
