I can't start in the safe mode, firefox has been removed and now it won't install.

Reboot the computer.

If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.

Save the file. Then Close Firefox.

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders

I believe the network driver got corrupt or wiped out. I loaded some old software earlier in the week. I restored windows to the time before I loaded the old software. That did the trick. I loaded a new copy of Firefox, and everything restored including the bookmarks and history.
