new update needs log in everytime i open firefox

Since i have updated to the new firefox I now have to log in and wait for it to sync everytime I re open firefox. I save the settings but it happens again the next time. any suggestions of what I have not set up or why this is happening?

Hi

This can happen if you haven't installed Firefox properly and run Firefox from the DMG file.

Make sure you install Firefox properly and that you do not run Firefox from within the DMG (Disk Images) file.

Open the Firefox Disk Images file and drag the Firefox application to the Applications folder on your hard drive. You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the Disk Images, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.
