I keep getting prompted with - 'login to server imap.shaw.ca with username awneitsch failed' and can't access my Thunderbird mail. I still have access to my Shaw webmail but it doesn't seem to be in sync with Tbird. Shaw tech could not help. They say that Shaw does not support Mozilla Tbird. Since when? It's been working for years. I don't like using Shaw Webmail.

What are the settings? They should be imap.shaw.ca on 993, SSL/TLS, authentication = normal password, User Name = part of address before the @. What is the antivirus, and what are its settings for email and secure connections? The TB profile folder should be excluded from AV scanning.
