Where do tabs I "send" to another device land ?

Hi. Firefox is my main browser, installed and signed in on a handful of devices. The share menu has a nice option to "Send To Device" to send a specific tab to another device. I do that, get a confirmation toast that the Tab has been sent... but where can I find it on the target device ? It doesn't open right away (which is what I'd prefer), and I can't find it anywhere else ?

I tried from Android to Android, from Windows to Android, from Android to Windows... Sending a tab is nice, actually finding it on the target device would be nicer ^^

Also, I tried to google up the answer. Articles all say you can send tabs and it is nice, no article details where those tabs land :-(

I run Firefox 90 on Windows, but I run Firefox "Nightly" (a test version) on Android, so your mileage may vary slightly.

On Android, a notification icon appears on the top notification bar when Sync receives a sent tab. On the tabs panel, there is a third icon (regular, private, sent from other devices) in case you cleared the notification. I actually don't see how I can get this off the list now. Hmm...

On Windows, I can't tell. In this 2019 video, a new tab just opens on its own: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jk1B8v2j_Q&t=30s Did that change?

I only sync Bookmarks and Open Tabs, so if some other category is needed, perhaps that could explain it. Or it's bug.

Thanks, this helps.

I checked and you're right:

1- a notification did pop up when sending Android to Android, only it took a while - more than 5 minutes, I just noticed it 30 mins later when I re-checked following your answer.

2- there doesn't seem to be another way to get that sent tab, I don't see it in the "new tab">"other devices" page you pointed to either.

3- nothing happens to tabs sent to Windows. They don't open spontaneously, don't show up in History nor in any other place I could find (other devices' tabs, bookmarks...).

4- Tab sent from Windows... well, I just tried again, waited 6 mins, hasn't shown up on my phone nor tablet yet. Too slow to be useful, especially if you can't go and grab it somewhere else on the receiving device.

Back to messaging myself links I guess :-(

I've also noticed that sending tabs to a mobile device can take up quite some time. Sometimes I use an extension to convert the link or the current tab to a QR code and scan that with the phone.
