This latest update, and/or version is terrible, especially with managing bookmarks; the previous version was much easier, and required less keystrokes.

Could you describe the steps you're using that are different in Firefox 99 compared with the version you were using before? Thanks.
As a brief reference, some of the basic keyboard shortcuts are:
- Ctrl+D => add a new bookmark for the current tab
- Ctrl+B => open (or close) the Bookmarks sidebar
- Ctrl+Shift+B => switch the Bookmarks Toolbar between Always Show and Never Show
- Ctrl+Shift+O => "Manage Bookmarks" - open the Library window to the Other Bookmarks folder
