I have read a number of reports of tab crashing, which I have continually. Running 133.0.3 (64-bit) on Win 11 Home 23H2. Very inconsistent crashes, sometime will open new tabs other times it will crash. I have reinstalled no change. I ran refresh, no change and now when I open Firefox I get a message to restore windows. I can't seem to get that message to go away. Any suggestions, especially about the opening message? I have used FF for years and am almost at the point of switching to Chrome. As an aside, also have problems on some websites processing information/orders when using Firefox. No problem when I switch to Chrome. Thanks in advance......

Please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted (and Unsubmitted, if any) Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

when about crashes entered, google suggestions appear. Under additional troubleshooting information, no tab crash reports are listed. Next suggestion....

Went back and reread the original suggestion and entered about:crashes and got no crash reports submitted. I have read this on some others that have had tab crashes. Any further suggestions? I have used Firefox for many, many years and this is becoming very frustrating. I'm not sure how to approach other than switching browsers, which I really don't want to do. Thanks in advance......

In case of tab crashes (Gah. Your tab just crashed), you usually do not get the choice to submit the crash report, this makes it harder to troubleshoot.

Anything helpful in the Browser Console?

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works, you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

From browser console: 3 entries blocked with following The resource at “https://xxx was blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking. Reason: “after sniff: nosniff is true”. Is this helpful??

Also, tried new profile with no extensions added, same problem, tab crashes.

Any more suggestions.....I can't be the only one with this problem!
