Thanks for the offer, but I cannot load the files I need into Firefox. I am not stupid, just not technical. I have the files I need kb3 and signon, in a back up on my new PC, but I need specific instructions that will import them to Firefox. If I open Firefox, then try File>Import, it try to import Internet Explorer Bookmarks, history, etc. I am stuck. Any help will be appreciated.

You need to copy the files to the profile folder on that new PC.

Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory > Open Containing folder

See [[Profiles|#How_to_find_your_profile|Profiles:How to find your profile]]

I can open the file you suggested, but how to I copy to it? Do I need Firefox to be open? Do I delete the current files? Will the new files override the current files, Key3 and signons-sqlite? Sorry, I am not a real techie. Thx, Paul

No, Firefox always needs to be closed if you make changes to files in the Firefox Profile Folder

You can delete or overwrite the current files key3.db and signons.sqlite. Note that doing that will remove all currently saved passwords and replace them with the ones in signons.sqlite
