I just upgraded to FF4.0 and now I cannot change the width of the tabs. The settings browser.tabs.tabClipWidth and browser.tabs.tabMaxWidth do nothing at all in this version. How do we change the Tab width?

The prefs browser.tabs.tabMinWidth and browser.tabs.tabMaxWidth are no longer supported in Firefox 4.
You now need to use code in userChrome.css
