the print on what ever page i opened was too small so i clicked an icon in the top left corner and it made the page longer. iwant to return to the way it was because i found out how to make the print larger

Did you switch on Full Screen mode (Firefox/View > Full Screen - F11) or did you maximize the window?

If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
