Firefox 5 does not allow McFee Site Advisor -I must have this. If not possible, I need to go back to Version 4. What to do?
How do I get McAfee Site Advisor to work on Firefox 5? If not possible, I need to go back to version #4 - how do I do this?

You can try this extension if you have compatibility issues with other extensions,
If you still want to downgrade, see here:
chonglh9, what's up?
When I go to the link suggested to re-install Firefox 4.0 or 3.6, it says "I do not have permission" from this server - and does not open.
Please let me know hoe to install Firefox 3.6 or 4.0 - thanks!
McAfee have taken the decision to rewrite the Firefox SiteAdvisor plugin to make it easier to update. This should ensure that Mozilla's fast-release schedule does not cause lengthy delays after future version updates. What it means for Firefox now though is that until the rewrite is complete - and tested - SiteAdvisor is being prevented from loading in Firefox in order to avoid the possibility of software incompatibility.
The SA rewrite is projected to take a few weeks to complete and test; it should be ready by about the third week of July, although the exact date is not being given at this stage. It could be earlier.
In the meantime, users who are concerned about the safety of websites may wish to consider WOT as a temporary substitute. WOT ratings are set by user consensus rather than by automated site testing, so WOT is not a full replacement for SiteAdvisor. It is, however, a good rating tool in its own right (I use both it and SiteAdvisor in all my browsers) and is apparently unaffected by the upgrade to FF5.
There is a discussion about this on the McAfee forums HERE
I went here http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/4.0/win32/ and picked, in my case, en-GB/ - which gave me Firefox Setup 4.0.exe . It seems to have installed over Firefox 5 without problems. So far!
It worked! Thanks!
Excellent worked for me and I went back to Firefox 4. In my case I went to the US-exe. Gone is firefox 5 and my siteadvisor is back. THANKS SO MUCH!!!
SiteAdvisor 3.4 is now available which fixes all FireFox 5.0 issues. This is available from siteadvisor.com
Has anyone tried it to verify if SA3.4 really now works with FF5? Just wondering.
Another option if it still doesn't is AVG Link Scanner, which runs similar to Site Advisor. It also works on a Mac, unless you have K-9 Web Protection installed also, in which case there is a conflict. Don't know if there is a similar conflict between K-9 and AVG Link Scanner on a PC, though.
Hey folks, I have just downloaded SiteAdvisor from their site and it is installed and working sweet enough. Voilá :
