I have mistakenly allowed pop-ups on a particular website. How do I change this to block or disallow pop-ups? Can it be changed back?

While I was in a website, I had a message to allow, block etc pop-ups but I think I may have mistakenly pressed 'allow'. I wish to change a pop-up allowability. Can it be changed back?

  1. Click the orange Firefox button or, if the application menu is enabled, click Tools followed by Options
  2. Click on the Content icon/category
  3. Next to where it says Block popup windows click the Exceptions button
  4. Select the site for which you wish to revoke the exception then click the Remove Site button

I have followed the advice. In Tools, Then Options and I have Pop-Ups disabled. But I am still getting an irritating Pop-Up from One of my BookMark Sites, even when I am looking at another. Is there anything else I need to do. Thanks for any advice
