google chat box in firefow wont let e type replies, though i can still receive messasages works on all other browsers

hello, i am running my google mail page in firefox and for some reason, when i use the chat/talk, i am unable to tye into the message box to send, people can send to me, and i receive theri messages, i just cant reply, they see me as on line, also, i have brought up google mail in other web browsers, and i am able to type and reply in the chat box, also if i bring up the talk button, and use that app in firefow , it allows e to send messages,

i begin to think it is something to do with the firefow brower blocking, i have checked all settings in google, and also my firewall, here seems no issues there, can you help i have recently been updated to the latest firefox edition, regards karen

Hello Friend, i had the same issue and now i fixed it by disabling "Adblock plus" addon which was the culprit, so if you have installed the "Adblock plus" addon try disabling it and check after restarting the browser, hope it works for you as well :)

Hello Friend, i had the same issue and now i fixed it by disabling "Adblock plus" addon which was the culprit, so if you have installed the "Adblock plus" addon try disabling it and check after restarting the browser, hope it works for you as well :)

thanks that has fixed the problem, i didnt have to disable the whole add on, "ad- block plus", just the gmail, 

from the drop down menu at the side of the ad-block  icon in my toolbar on Firefox;  i would never have thought to look there,  thanks again, i still have the add on working on other pages  and i can use my chat now,
