firefox not working

I have installed Firefox 9 over the top of 6.0.1 and now it doesn't work. It will open up but sites won't load.

I get a spinning wheel in the in the tab and then it stays blank.

I have tried dumping the profile.

Changing proxy setting.

And using app zapper to completly remove Firefox but it still doesn't work.

I have to reinstall 6.0.1 to be able to use Firefox
