Switching between tabs, playing GIFs, playing YouTube videos, typing text and opening the Firefox menu are sometimes laggy.

For example, sometimes when I click on a tab to view it, there will be a delay of a second before its contents are shown.

I tried Google Chrome and it doesn't have this lag. My computer is pretty powerful.

I tried safe mode, but the problem was present there, too.

I tried clearing the cache, but no luck.

I'm not sure what else to say, so if you would like more information, please just ask! Thank you.

I tried this and disabling the Session Manager add-on, and Firefox seems to be back to its usual fast self.
