The most centralized developer resource is MDN, e.g., Using HTML5 audio and video | MDN and the articles linked at the bottom of that page.
Mozilla's developers tends to use newsgroups for discussions. I don't know whether they offer support for third party efforts, but you might take a look at see whether your inquiries would be welcome.
