My wife runs Win XP and Firefox 16. She cannot access a Web page in Firefox because her HP laptop is missing a font. I discovered this because when she tried to access the page in IE, she would get a popup starting that she needed a missing font. I was able to permanently install this font for IE, but Firefox does not recognize it and I do not know its name.

I can access this page on my Win XP, Firefox 14 laptop. So I loaded all of the fonts from my C:\Windows\Fonts folder onto her computer. It didn't help.

Is there a way to load this font for Firefox onto my wife's laptop?

Thank you!

Can you post a link to the website in question?

What made you think a missing font is the problem? If you've already installed all fonts from one computer onto the other, then that doesn't seem to be the case. Besides, missing fonts are seldom crucial; most of the time the browser simply uses another font instead.

Also note that the latest version of Firefox is 17.0.1 and older versions contain security vulnerabilities.
