Could you explain a little more about what the issue is? What yahoo things are you trying to get rid of?

If it makes things easier you can provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

If you have installed a yahoo toolbar and want to remove it then please see the instructions below:

  1. Go into Tools > Add-ons > Extensions.
  2. Locate, in the list presented, the extension that enables Yahoo's toolbar (probably called Yahoo toolbar or something similar).
  3. Select that extension.
  4. Click the button Disable or the button Uninstall.
  5. Restart Firefox for the changes to take effect.
