How to remove new FF context menu item with navigation toolbar ?
Mozilla hates us and added yet one more feature no-one wants.
It's a context menu item: a webpage navigation toolbar.
If I wanted to work this way on my PC, I'd do that from my Linux installation.
On a Windows it is ludicrous.
Does anyone know how to get rid of it ?

Stylish and this UserStyle = goes back to the text menu. https://userstyles.org/styles/104945/fx-32-context-menu-full-text
Thanks for your advice :)
Is there also an option to remove all context menu items of text for Back - Forward - Reload ?
Since I really never use them and they are really cluttering causing me to accidentally use them.
I'd rather use the hot-key's for navigation.
Separate issue;
Update your Shockwave Flash v15.0.0.152 http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ The link for Flash Player v14.0.0.179 http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Removing Menu items use to be easy with the Menu Editor extension. But that extension hasn't been properly updated since before Firefox 3 was released and it has been slowly becoming useless as each new UI revision has come out.
I haven't tried this one out yet, but it has good reviews. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/s3menu-wizard/
This code is all you need to hide those images.
#context-back image, #context-forward image, #context-reload image, #context-stop image, #context-bookmarkpage image{ display:none !important; }
Install the User Style that I linked above and edit out everything except that code.
or
If you have Stylish installed, just create a new User Style using Write New Style and use that code.
or
Use this extension which will automatically create the 3 User files for you and provide an interface which allows you to "tweak" code from within Firefox. http://webdesigns.ms11.net/chromeditp.html
Then insert that code in the userChrome.css file, below the/* * Do not remove the @namespace line -- it's required for correct functioning */ @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* set default namespace to XUL */
The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.
- Create the chrome folder (lowercase) in the <xxxxxxxx>.default profile folder if this folder doesn't exist
- Use a plain text editor like Notepad to create a (new) userChrome.css file in the chrome folder (file name is case sensitive)
- Paste the code in the userChrome.css file in the editor window
- Make sure that the userChrome.css file starts with the default @namespace line
- Make sure that you select "All files" and not "Text files" when you save the file via "Save file as" in the text editor as userChrome.css.
Otherwise Windows may add a hidden .txt file extension and you end up with a not working userChrome.css.txt file
