My Firefox is still crashing and I didn't receive a response to my last few questions

I had posted this thread before but none of the "solutions" solved my problem. I'm going to upload this thread again because my Firefox keeps crashing.

Here is the original question, my last two posts never received any responses. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1015871?esab=a&s=&r=0&as=s

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste that into the "Post a Reply" box. (Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the ID's. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like)

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

You guys told me that same thing last time. Take a look at the link I uploaded.

Hello,

We're sorry to hear about everyone giving you the same answer, I have left a response below, some of us are a "Moderator" which are actual workers of Firefox!

Thank you.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.

jive,

In this posting - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1015871#answer-617224 - cor-el provided a lot of suggestions. You responded about the anti-malware recommendations, but I don't see a response about the upper part of that posting, above the line.

network settings Windows Safe Mode

"Moderators" for the most part are not Mozilla employees. We're just other users who volunteer their time to help other Firefox users (and other Mozilla projects).

As far as what is contained in the Crash Reports, open them and read them? I don't expect you to understand what they way, but you can see the data which is submitted to Mozilla to help you and to help improve Firefox by providing feedback about what caused each crash.

As far as being told something before, you need to listen more to the contributors who have many tens of thousands of support answers. Logic would dictate that they might just know a little bit more than other contributors, and / or "have been around the block more times". No slight intended towards contributors who haven't been around here as long or have a "real life" outside of this forum, or have a job - I am retired, AARP card and all.

cor-el has been around here since like 2006; he and I did some of the beta testing of this forum before it went live. As far as the total number of postings listed for cor-el, he could easily have double the number posted below his avatar currently. This forum software replaced a different package back in July 2010, and the "counts" started all over again at zero. I don't have the exact number, but I had slightly over 30,000 "answers" postings with the older software - I still haven't surpassed that count with the current software in about the same amount of elapsed time. [In my previous career I did a bit of statistical work - I record "numbers".
