As soon as I start browsing on firefox, it automatically downloads an IP app, doesn't install it, but the app just stays in my downloads folder. Happens every time. Please fix this.

I installed the application from file manager, where it was initially downloaded and then uninstalled it from firefox, it solved the issue.

Thank you everyone for your help. :)

The app is from https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/ip?src=search we auto update installed apps so is it possible that is was already or previously installed on the phone?

Menu button > tools > apps would show any installed WebApps.

I can see the app but I am unable to uninstall it. How can I uninstall it?? already tried holding it and choosing uninstall from the menu that opened.

Hi,

If opening the Apps screen in Firefox and holding down on the icon didn't work, you could also try the steps below:

  1. Open your device's Settings using the icon in your device's main menu
  2. Press Apps, find the IP app in the list and press it
  3. Press Uninstall

Hope that helps.
