When exiting Firefox for PC is closing and quitting the same thing?

using Exit (under File) or the "X" (upper Left Hand corner) are these both the same, and if so, will my Privacy Settings then be actioned?

What do you mean?

If you close Firefox using the X top right corner, this will only close that one window. If other FF windows are open, they are not effected.

If you close Firefox by Menu > File > Exit, all FF windows are closed.
