Keyboard shortcut in Preference window does not work in Firefox 38, it was working in 37
I used to do Alt-O |Content | Alt-C to select the color... option
But now it's not working anymore

If you find Shift+Alt too cumbersome, Firefox has a preference to change the "accesskey" accelerator to Alt alone. However, this permits pages to preempt the accelerators for the menu bar (F,E,V,S,B,T,H), so if you use those often, it may not be worth switching. If you're inclined to try it, this article has more info: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Ui.key.contentAccess
If you find that you can't get used to the "in-tab" preferences dialog, there is a preference to return to the old style dialog:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste pref and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the browser.preferences.inContent preference to switch it from true to false
Note: I don't know whether that will be in Firefox forever or is a transitional feature.

Try to use the Shift key in addition: Alt+Shift+C

I'm ok with shift-alt changes, but it does not work in my case...
as for preference.inBrowser, it's perfect, thanks very much :D I don't mind these recent changes, as long as I still have the option to revert it back via about:config
thanks again :D
