Just downloaded ff 38.0.1 and there are no frames. Everything looks washed out , looks one dimensional. I can see no boxes, no frames - why?

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
