What happened to https://start.mozilla.org/en-GB/ - don't like the replacement without being asked
Previously my setting have been retained when updating but this time the update seemed to be automatic (unless my wife clicked on it!) and the homepage we are used to disappeared and now I can't get it back.

How come I've been using it happily on all updates until the last one? I know this won't get me anywhere but it has certainly been available until last week.
Maybe someone forgot to take the site down, you know, people get busy...
What was it you liked about that page that's different from https://www.google.co.uk/?

Hi, if you aren't seeing the Firefox home page, try clicking on Restore Defaults as shown in Firefox's default home page has quick links to common features.
If that doesn't work, what are you seeing? - Perhaps you could provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.
Thank you!
It simply goes back to the last screen which is not the one I want. Can't be bothered with screen shot malarkey and am changing to Chrome which I use on my Android
hi, the start.mozilla.org page is deprecated for years now and no longer maintained. you can set any different page if you don't like the new default: How to set the home page
Start.mozilla.org was used until Firefox 4.0 when the default homepage changed to about:home so it was not maintained since.
