Thunderbird keeps deleting my sub-folders in email. I subscribe then restart, they come up for a second then delete again.

Thunderbird keeps deleting my sub-folders in email. I subscribe then restart, they come up for a second then delete again. Even under activity manager it shows that they have been deleted. I am not deleting them, how do I make this stop???
