Hi!

I am running XP. I know, go with it. :D

Firefox asked me if I wanted to clean up my performance, and I said yes. It warned that my settings and preferences would reset, andI wasn't scared...

But now my bookmarks are missing and any efforts to restore them keep failing. When I try to restore, I can see the numerous backup files from which to choose, but all of them fail <Unable to process the backup file>. I can see that I lost about 800 bookmarks, so it would be nice to recover them! The last time I manually saved my bookmarks was apparently 2012 (wow. yay me.) and that file also fails.

HALP!

Thank you!

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.
