The 100% that my web pages are displayed at, is too much, I prefer 67% but I have to change every page that I go to. How can I set "set it and forget it"?

You can set layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 1.0 (default is -1) on the about:config page. Adjust its value in 0.1 or 0.05 steps (1.1 or 0.9) until icons or text looks right. Modifying layout.css.devPixelsPerPx affects user interface and web pages (global zoom). You can use an extension to correct the appearance of web pages.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

If your menu and toolbar text size is good, and you only want to resize page content, it's easiest to use an add-on.

Here are some to consider:

After setting your global or default zoom level, you can still fine-tune the zoom on individual sites using Firefox's standard zoom feature (keyboard shortcut or mouse wheel).

Does that work for you?

Actually, now that you mention it, the toolbar is too big, also. See, I never had this problem before but then I bricked my puter last week and just got it running again today and now I have this issue with Firefox.

There is some difference between Windows (what I run) and Linux when it comes to multiples for the UI text. Hopefully another Linux user can clarify the best approach. Until then, you could look at this extension:
