My Thunderbird has crashed. Can't restart it, only getting an error message "Sorry, Tb has run into problems, can't start", but in Swedish version.

Windows 10. Thunderbird Swedish version. Thunderbird has been very slow (don't answer) for some week and I therefore tried to update manually but something went wrong. Have had automatic update but I think it hasn't worked because I think it was Version 38 something still. Followed the advise in some article on support and finally installed the new version without uninstalling the old one. Still Thunderbird won't start at all. Get a crash report. Have tried uninstall and the install new version but the problem remains. Forget the question. I have solved it by uninstalling and then installing again and thereafter restored a back-uped profile with MozBackup. :-)
