Reinstalled Thunderbird and got the message: "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

I found a solution that talking about an "ini" file in "profiles" but my profiles files does not have an ini file in it -- although all of my profile info is there by the looks of it.

Is there another place where I can find the missing ini file and then place that in my profiles' file? Will that work?

Cheers, Adrian Harper

Yes and no -- some help but various other problems with Thunderbird too. I'm finding the program leaves quite a bit to be desired when it comes to finding my way around, with unexpected things happening when I try different processes.

What I ended up doing was reinstalling the whole program and starting from new again.

But thanks for the suggestion. I guess I'll just muddle my way through.

cheers, Adrian
