Macedonian, what is this?
Hello,
I feel offended... You provide Firefox in Macedonian language... That doesn't exist... There is Greece (and Macedonia belongs to Greece) and FYROM that they have their own language and even though they want to call themselves macedonians, they are not... This is offending and blasphemy for the history and for a whole nation - country (Greece). Can I please ask you to reconsider this?
Thanks, George

hi, "Macedonian" or language code "mk" is the official denomination of the language according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639-1_codes. We try to localise Firefox into as many different languages with the help of local communities helping to translate it!
Other than accurately describing what language Firefox is offered in, the term "Macedonian" on the Firefox download page does not make any statement about the name of a country in one way or the other. any political discussion or "outrage" about this is not appropriate in this forum intended for technical support, so i'm going to close this question. thank you for your understanding!
Hello George,
Just like Philipp said above, when we want to make Firefox useful to everyone, we don't look at borders, flags, history or politics - we look at the languages people use.
More context: I have the pleasure and honour of working alongside some of the most dedicated supporters of Mozilla's efforts in a multitude of languages, and international politics, while always in the background, would never influence the core behind everyone's contributions - that is, making Moz-things understandable and useful for as many people as possible.
