when click on mailwasher icon to display incoming emails the screen to read the beginning of each email has dissappeared, how do I get it back on?

When I click on the mailwasher icon to bring up the initial screen of the incoming emails, the bottom half which displays the text of the incoming emails has disappeared, I must have accidentally clicked something to make it dissappear, I would like to get it back on, how do I do it?
