Firefox crashes upon any download or saving of files
After the last 2 updates, I have a problem with crashes. Every time I try to save a file, download an update to a program( like CCleaner), or initiate any kind of download, whether it is just saving a picture(.png or .jpg), as soon as the "save file as..." location window pops up, Firefox crashes(stops working and shuts down). EVERY Time. When I restart the browser, the open tabs are saved, and I can continue, but the same result will happen if I try to save anything again. It doesn't generate a crash report either. I have disabled, and then removed any add ons, restarted in safe mode, and even refreshed Firefox to no avail, and the problem persists. I can right-click on an object on a web page and copy it to the clip-board, but that is the only thing that works. Any ideas? Matthew R.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Thanks Fred, but unfortunately, when the browser crashes, it's not generating crash reports. There are only 2 listed from this year, but this browser has crashed 40-50 times in the last few weeks. Every time I try to save a file, the pop-up window to "Save file as...." comes up, then the box and the page goes opaque white, and a small box appears announcing,"The program has stopped working...." and FireFox shuts down. I have included the 2 reports generated this year below.

Try this : Type or paste about:studies in the address bar and press Enter (or Return) to load that page.
If you are enrolled in a user interface experiment, it should be listed on this page and there should be a way to uninstall/remove or to opt out.
Then after opting out please restart Firefox. See how things go and if still crashing send a new report with answers to this : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings
