Can't delete a specific bookmark, places database might have some error
Noticed I can't delete a bookmark, started looking for solution. So far, I've found that places database integrity check outputs this:
> Task: checkIntegrity - Unable to check favicons.sqlite integrity: Error: Error(s) encountered during statement execution: database disk image is malformed > Task: invalidateCaches - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: checkCoherence - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: expire - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: originFrecencyStats - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: vacuum - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: stats - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: _refreshUI - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task.
These are my addons (I think the only one that could be interfering is perhaps Tab Session Manager):

I'm running Windows 10
Other info: already tried restarting Firefox and rebooting the PC, no luck. I would really like to preserve my bookmarks and history and I'm willing to go to great extents to do that
Thank you in advance for your help

The first thing that's recommended in a situation like this is to try running Firefox in Safe Mode. This is a special troubleshooting mode that will disable your extensions and revert some settings temporarily. Running in this mode will ensure that nothing is interfering with your bookmarks.
If that doesn't help, I'd recommend first exporting your bookmarks to an HTML file so that you can recover them later. Some people also import their bookmarks and history into another browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, etc) and then simply importing that data back into Firefox after they fix their issue, so that they can save their history as well. I'd still recommend backing up your bookmarks into an HTML file to be 100% sure that you don't lose them.
Sometimes, for various reasons, there are two database files that can become damaged. The places file saves your bookmarks and history. The favicons file saves the little icons associated with each bookmark. To fix this, we simply need to take away these files so that Firefox is forced to rebuild them from scratch. This will allow us to restore the bookmarks and information that we just backed up.
So next, you will want to open your Firefox profile folder so that we can make some fixes. Once you've opened the folder, close Firefox. You will want to rename both the places.sqlite
and the favicons.sqlite
files to places.sqlite.old
and favicons.sqlite.old
. We are renaming the files instead of deleting them so that, if necessary, we still have the files available to us.
Once you open Firefox again, it should rebuild both of those files for you. You can then import your bookmark backups from the HTML file you saved and/or import your data from another browser.
Hope this helps.
Following your suggestion, I've just renamed favicons.sqlite and it seems that it was enough for me to delete that bookmark. However, my places database may still not be in perfect help, here is the new report from verify integrity:
> Task: checkIntegrity + The places.sqlite database is sane + The favicons.sqlite database is sane > Task: invalidateCaches - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task.
Can you further assist me? Thank you
Did you try to reboot the computer?

Did you try to reboot the computer?
Since the first question? Yes. But not since rebuilding favicons.sqlite. Will do that and report later, thank you
