Firefox 70 - High CPU/RAM USAGE

more options

I dont know why but after updated into firefox 70 with Enhanced Tracking Protection, CPU always 50-60 when i'm watching movies and Memory always go up to 8-12GB after several hours.

Most active addons is NoScript > Tampermonkey > Tabshunter > Stylus, when i'm checking with about:perf , i saw NoScript using so much Memory, so maybe it's Addon memory leaking ?

Sometime when i'm checking Task Manager (Ctrl Alt Del) Disk is 50-80MB/s

There is an issue with yesterday's NoScript update:

You can install a "development version" as a workaround, but I'm not sure how you can then get back on track with the regular series:

Hopefully the main site will get updated soon.

At times, Firefox may require significant system resources in order to download, process, and display web content. If you are experiencing periods of sustained high resource usage while using Firefox, this article presents some options for you to review.

The CPU (Central Processing Unit) is the "brain" of the computer.
The RAM (Random Access Memory) or Memory helps your computer perform multiple tasks at the same time.
When your system resources are being heavily used, the overall performance and stability of the computer can be impacted.
Depending on your operating system, you can review and monitor resource usage through specific tools. See the Use additional troubleshooting tools section below for more information.

1.Update to the latest version 2.Restart Firefox 3.Disable resource consuming extensions and themes 4.Hide intrusive content 5.Check Firefox hardware acceleration 6.Check Flash hardware acceleration 7.Use fewer tabs 8.Close other applications 9.Delete corrupt content-prefs.sqlite file 10.Refresh Firefox 11.Use additional troubleshooting tools

12.Add RAM to your computer 13.Upgrade your computer

I too am having a problem with firefox eating up all my memory. I have done all the suggestions and this is a brand new HP laptop. The fan is constantly running as well.

I have used FF for years and never have I experienced this. Is there another version I can use? Sometimes I can only have two tabs open and even that seems to be too much. I would really hope that FF would address this common issue, and do something about it. I do not want to use a different browser, I love FF, but this is getting to the point where it is unusable.
